Studies have shown that the wider the cage, the better it is for your bird's health. Because of AA’s commitment to providing the very best avian habitats, Avian Adventures has redesigned their cages to provide additional width and added optional slide out grates to accommodate varying bird behaviors.

Avian Adventures' cages are known for their unique "lift off" playpens, which can be removed from the top of the cage while still maintaining an intact cage.

Features unique to Avian Adventures Cages

• Lift-off playpens with natural Bakau hardwood perches and two food-cup holders. All playtop styles also include three interior food bowls;

• Use of the grate is optional;

• Bird Proof Door Locks;

• All playtop cages have one (Nina/Chiquita) or two (Mediana, Castillo, Grande) toy loops that lock onto the playpen to keep your bird entertained while sitting on top of the cage;

• Dome top cages (except for Nina) have nest-box doors for breeding, two or four inside toy loops, and three interior food bowls;

• Interior food bowls are accessible by solid swing open doors so you never have to reach inside the cage (if you have a killer parrot!);

• Natural hardwood perches - no boring dowels! Our perches are made of Bakau wood, lighter yet harder than manzanita;

• Improved knockdown design, still without nuts or bolts. Easily breaks down into a small box for easy transportation and storage;

• Specially designed skirts: No more clips or bolts;

• A storage shelf has been added to the bottom of most of our cages to store food, treats, etc.;

• Gold or Silver accent packages, including beautiful name plaques, on each cage depending on the color. A touch of class like no other cage in the world!;

• Six month warranty against manufacturer defects on powder-coat and two years on stainless steel.

Avian Adventures The Hacienda

The Hacienda is designed to provide the finest housing for large macaws.  As with all Avian Adventures cages, this sturdy cage goes together without ANY nuts, bolts, or screws.  In addition, there are no welds to break!  It features two bottom trays for added ease and convenience in cleaning.  The height of the food bowls is 31", providing lots of room for even the longest of tails! 

The Hacienda has 1" bar spacing and 1/4" gauge wire.  The inside dimensions are 48x34x60".  It is available only as a Dometop.

The Castillo accommodates many different birds from Eclectus and Greys to Cockatoos and Macaws.  Smaller than the Grande but  cages, the playtop is removable and it goes together without ANY nuts, bolts, or screws. The Castillo has 1” bar spacing and ¼” gauge wire.  The inside dimensions are as follows:

Playtop: 38" x 30" x 48”.  Overall cage height is 73"

Dometop:  38" x 30" x 58". Overall cage height is 71"
